Sirjana Duwal

Sirjana Duwal is a Nepali writer, journalist, and editor who has been active in literature since a young age. She published her first Nepal Bhasa poetry collection, Jigu Chhen Jigu Sarg, while still in Grade 9, and has since authored three poetry books.

With over two decades of experience in journalism, she served for 18 years as Assistant Editor of Nari, a magazine under Kantipur Publications. She is currently the founder and editor of Eye Opener Media, where she leads Wahjindagi.com and its associated publication. She also contributes as an editor to Janamat Monthly and Jananatsahitya.com.

Duwal works across poetry, fiction, and research-based writing. She has also directed the cultural documentary Bafcha, for which she received recognition from the Bagmati Province Government. Her work continues to engage with themes of society, culture, and creative expression.
