Mani Lohani | Himalayan Literature Festival 2026
Mani Lohani is a Nepali writer and television journalist with over three decades of experience in poetry and fiction. Originally from Nuwakot, his work explores themes of love, life, human relationships, and death.
His books include the poetry collection Malami Saajh and the story collections Parast Prem and Nirbastra Man. His book Mrityuko Aghiltir received a major national literary award.
He has been honoured with several awards, including the Bhanumati Award, the Sarbottam Katha Award, and the Banitashree Byathit Poetry Award. His works have been translated into different languages and are included in school curricula in Nepal.
