Joyce Maynard is the New York Times bestselling author of fourteen novels, five works of nonfiction, and the long-running syndicated column Domestic Affairs. Her acclaimed novels To Die For and Labor Day were both adapted into major motion pictures, while her bestselling memoir At Home in the World has been translated into eighteen languages and is currently being adapted for film.
Her latest novel, In Wonderland, was published in 2026. A recipient of fellowships at the MacDowell and Yaddo artist residencies, Maynard is also the founder of Casa Paloma, a renowned writing and spiritual retreat center in a small Mayan Indigenous village on the shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.
