Ganesh Khaniya, first graduated in Civil Engineering, later earned Masters and M. Phil. respectively in Anthropology and Literature. After having roped in the arena of infrastructure development and interdisciplinary research works for a decade and half, he is lately more into reading, writing and interacting pertaining to art and literature-both from home and away. He indulges in translation works too, mostly from English to Nepali. He is highly fond of delving into the world furnished by African and Arabic fictions. He regularly contributes his works to Himal Khabar Patrika, and Madhuparka monthly focusing mainly on book reviews, literary portraits and miscellany. Partly, he teaches English literature to undergrad students.
