Dmitry Legeza

Dmitry Legeza is a poet, a member of the Union of Russian Writers and the Union of Writers of St. Petersburg. He serves on the organizing committee of the international poetry festival St. Petersburg Bridges and is a co-founder and co-editor of the PIITER literary society.

Legeza’s poetry has been published in numerous literary magazines both in Russia and internationally, including the United States, Denmark, Israel, Colombia, Italy, Poland, France, and Nepal.

His contributions to literature have been recognized with several awards, including the Daniil Kharms Prize (2013, 2018) and the Anna Akhmatova Grand Prize (2023).

He is the author of several poetry collections, including The Cobbler (St. Petersburg, 2006), A Cat on the Windowsill (St. Petersburg, 2010), Pictures of the Floating World (St. Petersburg, 2017), and The Butterfly Marusya (Moscow/St. Petersburg, 2023).
