Thrilled to Welcome Jafreen Uddin to Himalayan Literature Festival, Kathmandu 2026!
We are delighted to announce that Jafreen Uddin, Executive Director of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop (AAWW), will join us at the Himalayan Literature Festival 2026 in Kathmandu.
Jafreen is the first woman to lead AAWW since its founding in 1991. With over a decade of experience in the public sector, she brings deep expertise in communications, education, and fundraising. She most recently served as Deputy Director of Development for Special Events at PEN America, where she managed high-level events and cultivation initiatives.
Previously, she worked with NYU’s Stern School of Business as Assistant Director, overseeing Executive Education programs for senior-level leaders.
We look forward to Jafreen’s presence and insights as we celebrate literature, dialogue, and global literary communities at HLF 2026.
