Author of six acclaimed poetry collections, Anne’s writing has reached global audiences, frequently ranking among The Irish Times’ Most-Read. She is the recipient of numerous prestigious honors, including the American Association of Australasian Literary Studies Poetry Prize, the American Writers Review Prize, the Henry Lawson Poetry Prize, and the iWoman Global Award for Literature.
Originally from the west of Ireland and now based in Australia, Anne brings with her a wealth of experience and insight. She holds a PhD in archival poetry and the poetics of resistance from the University of Technology Sydney, where she also teaches creative writing.
